Custom Fine Art Print on Premium Media - This eleven-inch Dalhgren naval cannon, seen on the Battery in Charleston, SC's White Point Gardens, was salvaged from the sunken wreck of an ironclad warship, the U.S.S. Keokuk,  a part of the Federal squadron which attacked Fort Sumter on April 7. 1863. Badly damaged during this attack, the Keokuk sunk off  Morris Island a day later.
